If you choose Standard Shipping, the package is addressed to you and arrives in Roseau, which is an hour away from the main campus. We have reliable drivers that can be hired to pick up and deliver your package directly to your door. You are responsible for customs and delivery charges which are generally between $30 US and $70 US. It takes between 4 to 6 weeks for your package to arrive in Dominica. To guarentee that your package gets to you BEFORE the first day of September '10 semester, your order must be placed by July 20th. We accept orders at ANY time but your order may or may not arrive before the first day of classes if placed after July 20th.
If you choose Economy Shipping, aka Site To Store, the package will arrive at the Island Thrift table on campus. Customs and delivery charges are included in the shipping cost paid at check out! If you choose this method, there is no guarantee that it will arrive by the first day of classes, even if ordered by the on time guarantee deadline because the items are shipping with our regular inventory. This is a great price saver but you will be sarcaficing the on time guarantee. We accept orders at ANY time!
